Two People Who Found Something in the In-Between

Not quite R&B. Not quite electronic. Something that sits right where the soul meets the pulse.

Where It Started

London. Two Musicians. One Question Worth Answering.

Blues N Shadow didn’t start with a genre brief. It started with Sienna Taylor and Mark Evans finding out what happened when they stopped trying to fit inside one.
Sienna, came at music through texture. She hears the atmosphere before she hears the song, the mood of a room at 3am, the weight of a city that hasn’t woken up yet. Her keyboard work doesn’t just accompany the vocals. It builds the world the vocals live inside.
Mark, came at it through feeling. His saxophone doesn’t ornament a track, it deepens it. His voice carries the kind of lived-in honesty that makes a lyric feel like a confession rather than a performance.
They’re both based in London. They’re both signed to CrushPlaza. And since August 2025, they’ve been releasing music that sounds like what happens when you stop waiting for permission to make the thing you actually want to make.

R&B With an Edge. Electronic With a Soul.

Blues N Shadow make music about the things people don’t always have words for. The ache of distance. The slow fade of a connection you didn’t know was ending. The specific silence of a city at dawn when the world hasn’t started yet and anything still feels possible.
The production is atmospheric and hypnotic, drawing from R&B and house influences without being owned by either. Sienna’s soundscapes create space. Mark’s voice and saxophone fill it with something real.
The result is music that doesn’t hurry. It earns the emotion instead of announcing it.

The Two

Sienna Taylor

Keyboard · Composer · The Atmosphere
Sienna is the foundation every Blues N Shadow track is built on. She creates the sonic worlds that make the lyrics feel inevitable, rich, layered, and emotionally precise. Before a word is sung, Sienna has already told you how the song feels.

Mark Evans

Vocals · Saxophone · Composer · The Voice
Mark is the reason the music lands. His saxophone playing is instinctive and soulful, but it’s his voice that does the heavy lifting, understated where a lesser performance would push, and deeply honest in a way that’s increasingly rare. When Mark sings about distance or loss, it doesn’t sound written. It sounds remembered.

They’re Just Getting Started.

Three singles. A growing catalog. And a sound that’s still finding the edges of what it can do.

Blues N Shadow are building something deliberate and unhurried, the same way their music sounds. No shortcuts. No genre compromises. Just two musicians in London making the most honest version of the thing they set out to make.
